I just learned that many of the actors that were in Hogan’s Heroes were Jewish. These include the actors that play Colonel Klink, Sergeant Schultz, LeBeau, and Burkhalter. Robery Clary and John Banner both actually spent time in Nazi Concentration Camps. The actor that played Colonel Klink, Werner Klemperer, actually insisted that Hogan always win against the Nazis. I think John Banner said it best. “Who can play Nazis better than us Jews?”
