Once More Into the Breach!
My job is a continual exercise of hurry up and wait. A lot of the time we’re just slouching about in the office having a good amount of tomfoolery and shenanigans. But then you have days like yesterday, when the threat level went red, the klaxons started to blare, the whole nine yards. So we ran around like chickens with our heads cut off for a while, and again today, we are in waiting mode. It gets annoying, but I suppose that it brings balance to the force.
