Leaving Home
Well, this is the last full day of vacation before I have to return to school tomorrow. I just felt that I should write something before then. Funny thing is that now that I’ve decided that I should indeed say something, I am at an absolute loss for words.
I didn’t get nearly as much accmplished over this break as I may have wished I had. Not even close. I think I frittered most of my break away hanging out, doing nothing. Which wasn’t all that bad really. I do a lot at school. I don’t quite go to a normal school where all they expect of you is for you to go to class, and even then only on a semi regular basis. I guess that this is my way of bringing balance to the force. Extended periods of activity followed by a period of nonactivity. Or something of that nature.
Even though this is my last semester, I’m not looking forward to returning. I never do after a break. I know I’m getting crankier and more contentious as time goes on.
But I have some things I want to try out this semester. And to do this I’ll have to find some more time. Considering I waste most of my time, I’m going to have to get better about using it.
So here’s to late New Year’s Resolutions, and the only one I’ll make this year. Follow through.
