Personal Displays of… Asinineness?
Today while I was at work, I sold THREE Palm Zire 31s . I just don’t get why people buy Palm PDAs anymore. I used to use one and it was okay maybe 8 years ago, but nowadays, Pocket PC is the way to go. I owned an old iPaq back in the day. And I loved it. Sure the Palms are so much cheaper, but there’s a reason why. Reason number one, ITS CRAP.
I plan on getting Dell Axim sooner or later. I’m torn between the x30 and the x50. I think I’m going to end up getting the non graphics enhanced version of the x50 because it’s only 60 dollars more and I get a much faster processor and twice as much memory. Both have the integrated wireless. I could theoretically get the x50v, but that’s a whole 85 more than the x50, and for what, a 624mhz processor as opposed to the 520 of the regular x50? I think I’ll keep my money. That 85 dollars there pushes the x50v into the $400+ range, and that’s entirely more than I really want to spend at this moment in time. Then again, I should also take a look at some of the iPaqs from HP. I hear they offer better battery life and they are definitely better looking, but they are indeed more expensive. Maybe I can snag one from work with a discount. Hopefully.
