We didn’t make much progress with work today. With the use of a hammer drill, we were able to break what was impeding our progress on Day 6. We also started and removed the grass and dug a bit for the landing of the stairs.
Tomorrow, we are going to rent the auger again and finish digging the last two of the six holes that we need.

It’s most likely going to be wooden. We were looking at using a plastic composite that looks like wood but is termite proof and warp resistant, but that would cost over three thousand dollars more. So it looks like we are going to be going with pressure treated wood.
