Reading List
I’ve finished some more books, and I thought I’d share. Diary by Chuck Palahniuk is stellar. I’m a hundred or pages or so into Quicksilver, but that’s slow going. Stephenson is just so verbose, and 17th century Europe and America is not a timeline that I enjoy reading. Solipsist I am still slugging through. I think the problem with that one is that I don’t know how to read it. It’s not a novel. I’m not sure what it is. It’s not so long, so I expect I shall return to it very soon.
Last night, however, I purchased Harry Potter and the Sorceror’s Stone at Meri’s suggestion. It doesn’t seem very long compared with the GIANT books I’ve seen belonging to the series. I think I can polish this off in a night, I’ll let you all know how it goes.

i finished the first four over the course of a 5-day thanksgiving break in college…i wouldn’t let my kids read past the first book. it just gets weird in the later novels…but i can’t wait for the sixth to come out in july :)

I just finished the first, and it was really enjoyable. It’s been a while since I’ve read a book that was that compelling. Now I have to go to Waldenbooks and get the next one tomorrow. : P
