Delusions of Grandeur
Earlier today, Fred Gallagher, creator of the popular webcomic, Megatokyo, received a joint letter from the National Organization of Women and the American Association of Hot Chicks, as well as many other organizations, demanding that he cease and desist his current story arc.
Their attorney at a press conference was quoted as saying, “Though Mr. Gallagher is a very talented individual, he must simply stop giving all of the geeks and nerds that comprise his audience false hope that they have any sort of a chance with attractive women. Since he’s started this arc, I, myself have personally been asked out by 15 nerds! And they all still live with their parents in the basement! All Mr. Gallagher is doing is instilling a false hope in these poor pimply kids. Maybe if they took a shower, got rid of that acne, got a high paying job, and moved out, I would then consider being in the same room as them. But, he has got to stop filling their heads with this, ‘It’s what’s on the inside that counts’ bullshit!”
Mr. Gallagher was not available for comment.
